Oh, just another fantastic fall day to get outside and make things go “BANG” !!!
My brother has a buddy that he’s going to take deer hunting with him in a couple of weeks and he came over to zero his shotgun.
My brother’s CVA Wolf .50 cal muzzle loader and the buddy’s Remington 1100 shotgun.
I think my brother said he only paid $150 for the muzzle loader a few years ago and it does shoot rather well for a lower priced gun.
The upper left is my .50 cal shot (55 yards) and the slug shot. I would not want to get hit by either of those !!!!!!
The buddy also brought a CZ 2075 D to shoot.
My brother was really impressed with the CZ. I only shot 1 mag and didn’t really have too many thoughts about it.
I shot 100 rounds with my 380. Maybe 1 mag targets and the rest was working on drawing and shooting. That went way much better than the last time I did that. Also worked on some weak hand shooting.

My next range day opportunity will be??? Missing deer season! Can’t remember if that ever happened before!!! Having ones chest cracked open for heart bypass surgery certainly puts limitations on a person!
No venison stew, venison jerky, venison steaks,………
Hey, how’s the recovery going ?
Good. Slow but as expected.
I have a CZ 83, a 380 also and use that for daily carry. Easy to rack than my 45 and as I have gotten older my wrists just can’t take the pounding of a 45.
I would have need a few more mags to get a better opinion on it
