Fuck the Media, Fuck the Democrats

Yes I know saying “media” and “Democrats” is redundant.

For a week now, leading elected Democrats and the media have been publicly calling a sitting President a racist without a single shred of evidence.

Fuck the Media, Fuck the Democrats

We literally have nothing in common with those people anymore.

I do think though that this could well backfire on those repugnant people and convince a lot of bystanders to vote for Trump in 2020.

Snopes Debunks Snopes As A Hoax

Snopes.com Verified to be a Hoax – According to Snopes.com

So imagine my shock when I found out this week that Snopes decided to research claims that Snopes itself was a hoax. Snopes, true to its commitment, conducted an in-depth investigation. Stunningly, Snopes concluded that in fact there was no credible evidence to support the existence of Snopes, and reported its findings at its web site, Snopes.com

But interestingly, Snopes then conducted a further investigation and discovered something even more perplexing: Its subsequent study concluded that the alarmist claims by Snopes that it does not exist were in fact just a nefarious hoax, and that Snopes was in fact real after all. It pointed to reams of statistical reports showing thousands of daily web site visits, to debunk claims that it did not exist. But it didn’t end there. Shortly after that study, yet another Snopes investigation was launched, aiming this time to determine whether or not the previous Snopes report – which had reported that the Snopes report claiming thatSnopes.com was a hoax, was itself a hoax – was in fact a hoax or not.

As of this writing, the answer is still uncertain. It appears that Snopes has been caught in some carnival “funhouse of mirrors” endless loop of claims and counter claims about its own existence. As a result of this chain reaction of Snopes investigations into its own existence, the entire bank of Snopes web servers finally overloaded and crashed – that is, if we are to believe that those web servers ever existed in the first place.

For me, Snopes was my go to site to debunk stories that coworkers told. (I would already know, but had to prove it to them).

Then BLAMMO !!!! Obama got elected and all the sudden Snopes pretty much became liberal propaganda.

Conundrum….

Stolen from Woodsterman:

“A gun is like a parachute.  If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.”
The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of Socialism in the United States of America :

1.  America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other Countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about, yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it!  And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.

By the way………….   …….

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.  And here’s another one worth considering…

 2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money, but we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?  What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.

Dear WNBA Players: DLTDHYITA

Diana Taurasi: WNBA players have to ‘go to a communist country to get paid like capitalists’

The lightning rod issue in the WNBA — not unlike other women’s teams — is pay and it will be a key factor in negotiations for the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

The rookie minimum is $41,965 in base salary, a number Taurasi said is less than what a janitor at the arena would make. It’s unfair, she said, given that players such as the Mercury’s Brittney Griner are asked to “carry the league” when they come in.

As with many WNBA stars, Taurasi plays overseas in the league’s offseason to offset her $117,500 base max salary and makes around $1.5 million from her Russian team.

You know what, it’s really not that hard to figure out why you don’t make much money playing in the WNBA:

YOU AREN’T SELLING A PRODUCT THAT VERY MANY PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR !!!

“The Dukes Of Hazzard” was a good TV series from 1979 to 1985.  Well, actually it was a good show for about three seasons.  After that it was really quite a lot of crap.

For crying out loud Sheriff Coltrane, STOP CHASING THE DUKE’S !!!!  You know where they live !! Just go pick them up.

Cousins Bo, Luke and Daisy were always getting into some sort of mischief.

Not sure if the show ever really explained how Uncle Jesse and the kids were all related.  None of the young’ns were brothers or sisters, so did they each have a different set of parents?

Well, there were two highlights of the show for 7 seasons, a really cool 69 Dodge Charger and of course, Cousin Daisy always walking around in some short shorts !!  Woooooo.

“Chuck The Wonder Dog”

1980-1986 was a really good time for “good bad” movies.  I really love dumb movies that aren’t pretentious are nothing but clever, dumb chuckles.

This movie is 1984’s “Up The Creek.”

Starring Tim Matheson and Jennifer Runyon.  A bunch of college slackers and goof offs are roped into competing in an intercollegiate raft race. Really?!?! And then the hilarity ensues.

I really, really, really thought Jennifer Runyon was HOOOOOOOTTTTT !!! She was hot in the “Brady Bunch” TV movies and in the TV show, “Charles in Charge.”  Yes, I watched “Charles in Charge” and I really enjoyed it.  Scot Baio and Willy Aames were a great acting duo.

OK, back to “Up The Creek” and one of my favorite bits from the movie starring “Chuck The Wonder Dog.”

EBOLA !!!!

Ebola just spread into Uganda. It may soon become an emergency

Ever since the second-largest Ebola outbreak began raging in the Democratic Republic of Congo in August, health authorities have feared that the virus might one day spill over DRC’s porous borders.

That moment, unfortunately, has arrived.

On Tuesday, the World Health Organization confirmed the first cases of Ebola spreading from DRC to neighboring Uganda. A 5-year-old Congolese child traveled across the border with his family on June 9 and then sought medical care in Uganda. The boy died overnight. His 50-year-old grandmother was also diagnosed with the virus, and died a day later. Now the boy’s 3-year-old brother is being treated for the virus near the border.

According to the WHO, Uganda has been preparing for this moment. Health authorities there have vaccinated nearly 4,700 health workers in 165 health facilities (including the one where the deceased child was cared for). They’ve also set up Ebola treatment units to isolate and care for the sick.

Still, it’s a disturbing development in an outbreak that remains out of control. “This epidemic is in a truly frightening phase and shows no sign of stopping anytime soon,” said Dr. Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, in a statement. “We can expect and should plan for more cases in DRC and neighboring countries.”

Ebola is a horrible disease with a high mortality rate.

Ebola is mostly preventable by just avoiding areas that are likely to have outbreaks or avoiding contact with other people that may have had contact with people from potential outbreak areas.

Not too hard eh?

The US of A used to have incredibly efficient and effective way of preventing outbreaks here:

DON’T LET  INFECTED OR POSSIBLY INFECTED PEOPLE IN !!!!!

Good God, is that too hard to do?

It was until Obama was President.

Ebola evacuations to US greater than previously known

An undisclosed number of people who’ve been exposed to the Ebola virus — not just the four patients publicly identified with diagnosed cases — have been evacuated to the U.S. by an air ambulance company contracted by the State Department.

“We moved a lot of other people who had an exposure event,” said Dent Thompson, vice president of Phoenix Air Group. “Many times these people are just fine, they just had an exposure. But you have to treat it as though the disease is present.”

How many exposed patients have been flown from West Africa to the U.S.? Thompson said medical privacy laws and his company’s contract with the State Department prevent him from revealing the figure.

“I’m not avoiding it,” Thompson told Yahoo News. “I’m just not allowed to talk about it.”

WHY ARE YOU IMPORTING A DEADLY COMMUNICABLE DISEASE AND FLYING THEM AROUND THE COUNTRY??

There is no cure for Ebola.

From the CDC:

Treatment

Symptoms of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) are treated as they appear. When used early, basic interventions can significantly improve the chances of survival. These include:

  • Providing fluids and electrolytes (body salts) through infusion into the vein (intravenously).
  • Offering oxygen therapy to maintain oxygen status.
  • Using medication to support blood pressure, reduce vomiting and diarrhea and to manage fever and pain.
  • Treating other infections, if they occur.

Recovery from EVD depends on good supportive care and the patient’s immune response. Those who do recover develop antibodies that can last 10 years, possibly longer. It is not known if people who recover are immune for life or if they can later become infected with a different species of Ebola virus. Some survivors may have long-term complications, such as joint and vision problems.

Therefore, Ebola can be treated in place, rather than transporting thousands of miles.

We know some things about Ebola, and certainly not everything.

DON’T TAKE CHANCES !!

A pretty good burger:

Fried egg, bacon, pepper jack cheese.

It was the messiest burger that I have ever had !  Not that’s a bad thing.  I had to eat most of it with a knife and fork.

The fries were really great.  I like mustard with my fries.

As good as the food may have been, I will not go back.

Nancy Pelosi wants a “Pathway to Citizenship”

Hey sweetums, we all ready have a pathway to citizenship.

It’s called “THE LAW.”

The biggest failure of Republicans on the immigration issue is that they don’t explain to the other side, what immigration is, and what it isn’t.

What it isn’t, is unfettered aliens entering a country.  No nation does that and no nation ever will.

What it is, is a system that  allows non citizens to live in our country based on what the non citizen can do to make the host country better.

The non citizen knocks on our door and tells us that they are illiterate, have no appreciative work skills, will go on welfare and commit crimes against the citizens, well shit !!!! Why would we let them in??

If they tell us that they have skills in an area of our labor market that we have a shortage of, well shit !!!!! We MIGHT let you in.

Please, every elected person in America, please tell me what the advantage is to the taxpaying citizen to importing welfare recipients and criminals?

Obama’s True Legacy

https://theothermccain.com/2019/07/07/violence-against-women-update-13/

she ‘deserved it’ for ‘slavery’

A black parolee arrested for raping and bashing a white woman on the roof of his Bronx apartment building allegedly told a witness that she “deserved” the brutal attack because of slavery, according to court papers.
“She was a white girl. She deserved it because us minorities have been through slavery,” Temar Bishop, 23, allegedly said to someone who witnessed the bloodied 20-year-old woman after the assaults, according to a criminal complaint.
“This is what they used to do to us. This is what they did to us during slavery. They used to beat us and whip us.”
Temar Bishop, 23, was arrested by authorities [June 14] in Virginia on a slew of charges connected to the early morning June 1 assault, which officials have deemed a hate crime, according to authorities.
The 20-year-old met Bishop — who was on parole after serving just over a year behind bars for robbery — around 5 a.m. and joined him on the rooftop of the public housing building on Alexander Avenue near East 137th Street in Mott Haven, police said.
Bishop allegedly punched her repeatedly before raping her, then continued his assault — kicking and punching her in the head and body until she fell unconscious, cops said.

This person was never a slave, his parents were never slaves, his grandparents were never slaves, his great grandparents were never slaves.

Who taught him to think like that?

America elected a black man President  TWICE !!

You would think race relations would have gotten better, not worse.

Obama’s true legacy is ignorant, angry, violent young black men.
