This would appear to be a photo of the ‘Victim” receiving medical attention.
There are many differing details being reported. But, there is some similarity throughout most of the reporting to get a basic story line:
Driving home at 1:00 am (Never have seen any details as to where she was coming from)
Stopped at intersection with the driver side window down.
Heard racial epithet.
Turned to look.
She saw 4 typical white frat boys. Two were wearing all black, two had floral shirts and jeans.
She was sprayed with lighter fluid and a lit lighter was tossed at her.
She put out the fire out and drove home where it was her mother that encouraged her to go to the hospital.
My interpretation of the events come from just using logic and a literal interpretation of events as described (in various reports).
Quote from an interview 06/25/2020:
“I was listening to some music at a stoplight and then all of a sudden I heard someone yell the N-word really loud,” “I turned my head to look and somebody’s throwing lighter fluid on me. And then they threw a lighter at me, and my neck caught on fire and I tried to put it out, but I brushed it up onto my face. I got it out and then I just blasted through the red light … I just felt like I needed to get away. So I drove through the red light and just kept driving until I got to my brother and Middleton.”
Other reports say:
She “patted out the flames,”
I haven’t seen any reporting of where the “victim” was coming from and that is important as it was reported that the “attack” was several blocks from where the Democrat Fascist Storm Troopers and Black Lies Matter rioting was occurring. I would think in that area one would not voluntarily be driving a vehicle at that time of the day.
“She heard a sound and turned her head”. Looking at the photograph above, unless she was looking to her right at the time of the “attack”, it is not likely that the flammable liquid would be on her face in those locations. If she was looking forward and turned her head, the fluid most likely would have ended up more to the front of her face.
She also described her actual “attacker”:
was wearing a “salmon-colored” floral shirt sprayed the left side of her face with what she thought was lighter fluid from a bottle and then threw a flaming lighter at her.
Not being factitious here, but I am seriously impressed. At night, under street lighting conditions, and under duress she remembers that detail (but NOT what intersection she was at.)
“She patted out the flames.” I am scared to death of being on fire. I have seen people on fire and I have smelled charred flesh. It scares the hell out of me. I would still like to think that if I ever were on fire, I wouldn’t panic and “stop, drop and roll” would be applied. But even for me, if my face was on fire, not sure I would be “patting” the flames out. The reporting also says that it was her neck that was on fire and she “brushed” it onto her face. Would that not have also transferred the flaming fluid onto her hand(s) and also burned them as well? Her neck was on fire? That’s where the lighter fluid landed on her? Her hair did not catch fire?
The “victim” said that she drove to her brother’s home before going home. She claims that as an EMT (she’s STUDYING to be an EMT at the age of 18) she recognized that she was in shock. Was she originally going to her brother’s home and she continued after the “attack” or was she going home and somehow after the “attack” she thought to go to her brother’s? Almost all of the reporting leaves out that she went to her brother’s before going home.
Lack of follow up reporting and any updates form law enforcement. While I do not expect a daily update or briefing from local LEOs or the FBI, you would think some information would be given to the public. FOR GODS SAKE, THERE IS A ROVING BAND OF RACIST WHITE FRATBOYS RUNNING FREE AND WILD!!!!
There should be a plethora of forensic evidence available. Was there lighter fluid on her vehicle? Was there lighter fluid on her clothing? You can’t swing a dead cat without being on several CCTV systems in any large city.
And of course, the grand daddy of possible evidence: HER CELL PHONE !!!!
Would be a lot of answers right there.
